- Suggested for university
ClawPi is a ROS 2 robot car that Hiwonder designed for AI and robotics education, powered by a Raspberry Pi 5 on a mecanum wheel chassis. This listing is the grey version, with a grey frame and grey mecanum wheels; a black version is listed separately. Every kit has an HD camera on a 2DOF pan-tilt, a screen and a 4-channel line follower, and works with OpenCV, MediaPipe and YOLO26. The Standard Kit adds an AI voice interaction box for large AI models and the OpenClaw AI agent, the Advanced Kit adds a TOF lidar for SLAM mapping and navigation, and the Ultimate Kit adds a 2DOF robotic arm for grasping and carrying. The code is open source and in Python, with tutorials.

What it does
Built for.
Four kits
Starter: AI vision, Wi-Fi video, sensors and app control. Standard: adds the WonderEcho Pro AI voice box, offline voice interaction, and basic large AI model and OpenClaw applications. Advanced: adds the TOF lidar for SLAM mapping and navigation. Ultimate: adds the 2DOF robotic arm.
OpenClaw and large AI models
From the Standard Kit up, ClawPi takes voice or text instructions from a PC or app, breaks the task into steps, decides what to do and carries it out, through multimodal large AI models and the OpenClaw agent.
Lidar SLAM
In the Advanced and Ultimate kits, the TOF lidar maps the room in real time and handles global path planning, dynamic obstacle avoidance and multi-point cruising.
Vision on a pan-tilt
Two anti-blocking servos turn the camera 130° vertically and 180° horizontally. With OpenCV, ClawPi identifies colours and objects and tracks them, reads traffic lights, and follows direction signs.
Mecanum movement
Four mecanum wheels move it forwards, sideways, diagonally and on the spot, and it follows lines with the camera or with the 4-channel line sensor.
An arm for transport
In the Ultimate Kit, the 2DOF arm grasps targets the camera has found and carries them, for model logistics and autonomous driving transport.
