DaDablock
An ESP32 programmable building block kit with sensors and motors, coded in Scratch blocks or Python.
- ESP32
- Suggested for primary
- Suggested for secondary
DaDablock is a programmable building block robot kit for primary and middle school learning, built around an ESP32 controller. Pieces join with pins rather than screws, and the enclosed block-style modules fit standard LEGO parts, so electronics sit alongside ordinary bricks. Learners program their builds with blocks in WonderCode and move on to Python in the Hiwonder Python Editor. Sensors for obstacles, lines, light, sound, touch and orientation, and a dot matrix display, let a build react to what is around it. The Ultimate Kit covers 36 official builds, each with an assembly guide, a program and a tutorial.
Zeta42 is an authorised Hiwonder partner in the Middle East.

What it does
Built for.
Pins, not screws
Screw-free pin assembly makes building quick, and the electronics sit in fully enclosed, block-style housings.
Fits standard LEGO parts
Parts match standard LEGO parts in interface and size, and the side and bottom mounting holes line up with LEGO Technic parts.
Sensors and modules
Ultrasonic, infrared obstacle avoidance, line follower, IMU, light, sound, touch and button sensors, plus a dot matrix display, all use the same 4-pin plug, which is simple and safe for younger makers.
ESP32 controller
The controller has ports for sensors and motors, a built-in buzzer and RGB lighting, and two 18650 battery slots with a protection chip against overcharging.
Blocks first, then Python
Learners start with block-based programming in WonderCode and move on to Python as they gain confidence.
Guides for beginners
Blueprint-style visual tutorials break each mechanism into clear steps, and a full-colour guide covers the builds.
