AiBlock AI Vision Kit

An ESP32 building block kit with an offline AI vision module and a voice module, coded in Scratch or Python.

  • Suggested for secondary

The AiBlock AI Vision Kit is a building block robotics kit for AI learning, built around an ESP32 block controller. Its WonderLens vision module, on a K210 chip, recognises faces, colours, numbers, tags, traffic signs and waste types without an internet connection, and the WonderEcho voice module takes custom spoken commands. More than 450 building pieces make three official builds on mecanum wheels: a humanoid robot, a mecanum off-roader and a robotic arm transporter. A 16-session curriculum guides learners through the builds, which they program in Scratch blocks or Python.

Zeta42 is an authorised Hiwonder partner in the Middle East.

What it does

Built for.

  • Offline AI vision

The WonderLens module runs on a 1 TOPS K210 chip with a 2MP wide-angle camera and its own LCD screen. Face, number, tag, traffic sign and waste recognition, target tracking, feature learning and line following all work without an internet connection, and new faces can be taught with one click.

  • Voice commands

The WonderEcho module has a noise-cancelling microphone and a speaker, and accepts custom voice commands. Hiwonder gives its recognition accuracy in English as 98%.

  • Three builds

More than 450 pieces build a humanoid robot, a mecanum off-roader and a robotic arm transporter, all on silicone mecanum wheels. The parts also support builds of the learner's own design.

  • Model autonomous driving

A 6-channel line follower and the vision module let a build follow a track, read traffic signs for routing and stop or go at red and green lights.

  • One cable for the sensors

The modules talk over I2C and join in a single daisy chain, so builds are not limited by the controller's ports. The plugs only fit one way round, and every sensor is fully enclosed.

  • Scratch and Python

WonderLab offers Scratch block coding and Python text programming. The enclosed ABS structural parts fit standard LEGO peg holes.
