xArm AI is a desktop programmable robot arm with intelligent bus servos, a glowing ultrasonic sensor and inverse kinematics for smooth, accurate movement. It is built around Hiwonder's CoreX controller, based on ESP32 and MM32 chips, which also drives motors and Hiwonder's range of sensors, and it can be programmed in Scratch, Python or Arduino. Every kit can be driven remotely, measure distance, show patterns on a dot matrix display and sort by colour. The Standard and Advanced kits add the WonderCam AI vision module and the WonderEcho AI voice module for colour, tag, face and mask recognition, waste sorting and voice control, and the Advanced Kit adds a set of sensor modules. Hiwonder provides courses, video tutorials and an analysis of the arm's inverse kinematics.
Zeta42 is an authorised Hiwonder partner in the Middle East.

What it does
Built for.
Choosing a kit
Starter Kit: remote control, ultrasonic distance measurement, dot matrix display, sound control and colour sorting. Standard Kit: adds AI vision recognition and tracking, AI waste sorting and AI voice interaction. Advanced Kit: adds sensor expansion and combined sensor projects.
AI vision (Standard and Advanced Kit)
The WonderCam module's HD camera recognises colours, tags ID1 to ID4, faces and masks, follows lines and tracks targets, and its built-in learning algorithms support one-click training.
Voice (Standard and Advanced Kit)
WonderEcho takes voice commands to pick and sort blocks and speaks prompts back. With WonderCam, the arm finds and sorts the objects in view on a spoken command.
Sensor projects (Advanced Kit)
Touch, light, and temperature and humidity sensors and a fan module support projects such as counting touches to sort objects, showing readings on the dot matrix and a fan that follows a face.
Scratch, Python and Arduino
Scratch drag-and-drop suits learners with no programming experience, Python offers libraries for faster development, and the Arduino IDE comes with open, commented source code.
Control and action editing
Drive it from the PC software, the app, a PS2 wireless controller or offline with the controller's buttons. Build actions with sliders on the PC, by dragging a 2D model in the app or by moving the arm by hand.
