Zeta42 signs official distribution agreement with DOBOT in the UAE

On 10 September 2026, Zeta42 signed an official distribution agreement with DOBOT in Shenzen, China. Under this agreement, Zeta42 becomes the official distributor of Dobot Robotics in the United Arab Emirates, supplying these platforms to educational environments alongside the required engineering and training support.

Expanding the Abu Dhabi Academy

To support the partnership, Zeta42 is expanding its academy at Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi, into a DOBOT demonstration, training and integration centre. While the interior design is currently at the proposal stage, the first equipment order has been placed. Once open, schools, universities and training providers can watch the DOBOT range running before purchasing, and have their teams trained in the same room.

Services and Support

The centre is being built to support UAE institutions with local services:

• See it before you buy it: education customers can bring a real part or task and watch it run.
• Training and certification: operator workshops, teacher training, and the DOBOT Certificate pathway.
• Educational application assessment and preparation: Zeta42 engineers configure and prepare cells before installation.
• Service and support: regional service, spares and upgrades to avoid waiting on overseas shipments.

Educational Robotics Lineup

The first equipment order, placed on 3 September 2026, comprises 34 units across 14 lines, weighted toward vocational training and AI research. The lineup includes Magician E6 cobots, MG400 collaborative robots on Siemens PLC platforms, Nova 2 arms, and Magician Lite stations. These will be used to teach hands-on six-axis robotics, bimanual manipulation, and mobile robotics.
